CAISSON CHAPTER RAISES MONEY FOR LOCAL VETERAN

CACHE, OK (KSWO) – Saturday out in Cache, a motorcycle club raised money for a veteran with cancer.

The Caisson chapter of the Rough Riders motorcycle club had chili and donated prizes to raffle off. They are raising money to cover the travel costs for a veteran in Oklahoma City who has cancer. The veteran wished to remain anonymous. The club main fundraisers focus on the care of veterans.

The event organizer says they rely on the community to help them with their efforts.

“This community especially is the best veteran communities in the United States,” said Dave Renehan, event organizer. “That’s why we have such a large number of veterans that actually get out of the military and stay here, or retire and stay here. The community here is also very welcoming of their veterans, and that’s why we all stay.”

They say the fundraiser went on Saturday night as long as they have prizes to award and chili to eat.
